Music Content Head

Shaan Rahman Music Conservatory is inviting applications for the role of Content Lead at their office located in Kochi, Kerala (onsite role). This role's main job responsibilities include:

• Lead a team of experts in creating specialized and customized music curriculum to promote world-class music education in schools. 

• Manage multiple music curriculum design projects of schools simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. 

• Design and curate lesson plans related and relevant to the existing curriculum plans.

• Create and maintain music resources relevant to each specific curriculum, and timely update them to the learning management system.

• Develop compelling marketing copy for email campaigns, social media posts, music education, etc.

• Train internal and external stakeholders in the implementation of new music curricula; while providing training sessions and guidance on the best practices in teaching methodologies for the music faculties of partner schools. 

• Collaborate with the design team on multimedia projects. 

• Create social media content materials for use by publication, broadcast, or internet media for promoting the organization, offered music courses, special announcements, and festive offers.

An ideal candidate would have a strong background in Hindustani/Carnatic music genre (Knowledge of Western music deserves brownie points), an excellent communicator and team player.
